...star date 37382. I've finally started using a 21st century homepage management system - the rarely updated, old homepage was managed mostly by an old version of Adobe GoLive and after a fatal G5 crash, by hand on Smultron. I'm hoping Blogger will make life easier and posts more frequent.

The main reason for not switching over earlier, after laziness, was that Blogger wasn't quite as customizable as you would've hoped for it to be. Categories*, for example, aren't directly supported, so I've tried to work a little hack using BlogSearch. I customized it a bit for my needs and style, but was inspired by netcf2 over here. I'm hoping they work, although I may have to link to/point the search at the krotti.blogspot.com page, instead of this address. Ignorant of me, yes, but I'll just see how it works, if at all.

I wasn't sure what to call this category of simple updates, now christened "Log". That's good enough. But if I'll ever start uploading podcasts or voicenotes, this category will surely be marked by addressing each of them to Diane.
